南青山の「WALL 青山店」は、壁一面の緑と現代アートが迎えるカフェ・バー。食事や飲み物とともに、席からの景色も楽しみたい日に気になる一軒です。
壁一面の緑を眺める席
空間の中心にあるのは、パトリック・ブランが手がけた「バーティカル・ガーデン」。壁を覆う植物の大小の葉に、黒い椅子とガラスが重なります。室内の現代美術作品にも目を向けながら、食卓を囲める場所です。
ガラスの向こうにも植栽が続き、夜の写真では照明に照らされた緑が浮かびます。青山で待ち合わせをするなら、こんな景色のある席を選ぶのもよさそうです。
ベリーを添えたチーズケーキ
2025年2月に紹介したニューヨークチーズケーキは、白いケーキにベリーと赤いソースを添えた一皿。透明な皿と葉の緑が、デザートの色を引き立てます。

A garden that rises up the wall
Patrick Blanc’s Vertical Garden is the centrepiece. Leaves of different shapes and sizes cover the wall beside black chairs and glass, with contemporary artworks to look at indoors.
Planting continues beyond the glass. In the evening photographs, lighting picks out the greenery outside, adding another view from the table.
Cheesecake with berries
The New York cheesecake featured in February 2025 pairs a pale slice with berries and red sauce on a clear plate. A green leaf adds another touch of colour.

Lunch, dinner or a glass of wine

WALL is on the first floor of emergence aoyama complex in Minami-Aoyama 5-chome. Guests under 20 are not admitted, even with a parent or guardian, and pets are not allowed.
